POCF SUBIC
Chrissy’s husband, Dondie is the Senior pastor of POCF Subic. It started in the 80’s as a church that ex-prisoners could attend and feel welcome without prejudice, as Chrissy had seen it was hard for the ex-prisoners attending other local churches. Now the church has around 200 members and 4 daughter churches in other areas of Luzon. POCF Subic is currently renting their building but they are praying, saving and believing for their own bigger building which will be need in order to reach more people in Subic town proper and for outreaches and Sunday school programmes. There are currently more than 80 children attending services but no clean spacious facilities for Sunday school classes.
POCF ROOSEVELT
Pastor Jimmy, a fruit of Mommie Olga’s ministry in Muntinlupa prison, is the senior pastor at POCF Roosevelt. Jimmy was serving a 40-80 year sentence in Muntinlupa prison, when he received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and saviour. His life was changed from that day forward and Jimmy went to bible school, whilst still in prison, and he became a Pastor. After serving 15 years, Pastor Jimmy was miraculously released from Prison and he came to serve the Lord at POCF Roosevelt. Roosevelt is in a poverty-stricken area of Olongapo and it has about 50 members.
POCF LAGUNA
Pastora Vangie heads the church in Laguna, south of Manila. Vangie met Chrissy in Muntinlupa prison where her husband was being detained at the time on death row, and she would meet Chrissy every month where they would attend the ‘Life Row’ Church services. Vangie had felt for a long time that the Lord was calling her to start a church in Laguna, and in 2001 her vision was realised. POCF Laguna now has about 70 members and Vangie’s 3 sons are all gifted members of the praise and worship team.
POCF SAN FERNANDO
This is one of POCF’s more recent churches which opened it’s doors in 2007. San Fernando is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from Olongapo. This church started as an outreach to families in San Fernando who requested to start bible studies in their homes. When the church opened, for the first year they were renting a small room in a run-down derelict shopping mall. At the beginning of 2008 the church were able to move into an old government building, which is very spacious and has plenty of rooms for Sunday school, for a very minimal rent.
