October 2011 POCM needs £16,000 a month for the general running costs of the Children's homes, School, Prison Ministry and churches. We currently receive 50% of our budget. Please continue to pray with us for the needs of the ministry and for financial breakthrough!! Please pray for our school as the monthly support of POC has been affected by the poor rate of the pound and giving has gone down due to the recession. We are looking at making the decision to close POCCA as it has such large running costs. We need an increase in the general monthly money to keep the school in operation.  Please pray for Jersen Manio, one of Boy's at POCCH. He has lived with us for 12 years and has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. He has undergone one treatment of Chemotherapy, but doctors said he would be unable to cope with a second lot of treatment. However, Jersen is now recovering in the Children's Recovery Unit in Olongapo at Helping Hands Ministries. Doctors are amazed with his health as his blood levels and platelets are much higher than expected. Please continue to pray for Jersen's Complete healing. The POC Prison Ministry vehicle is currently out of action and off the road. The engine needs overhauling and the car needs registering before it will be fit to drive again. This is putting alot of strain on the other POC vehicle that is having to make the long journey's to prison. Also, POC's bus needs new tyres before it can be used on the road again. Please pray that we might be able to raise at least 200 new sponsorships for our children at POC, We rely on school and children's Home sponsorships to provide for the running costs of these ministries.
